Please don’t forget Walsall's Online Parenting programmes are also available for free to anybody living in Walsall with a caring role for children – grandparents, parents, carers etc.  A new Online programme is due to be added shortly to an online package of programmes that focuses on family relationships. Walsall College courses

Walsall College’s next Open Day takes place on Wednesday 26th March from 4pm – 7pm and is a great chance for you to book your place on courses now and from September!

 Where will it take place?

Our Open Day will take place at our Wisemore Campus and our Green Lane Campus.

 These campuses are located at:

 ·         Wisemore Campus: Littleton Street West, Walsall, WS2 8ES

·         Green Lane Campus: Long Acre Street, Walsall, WS2 8HX

 

 Who is it for?

The Open Day is for anyone interested in, or would like more information on, our adult courses or our school leavers courses. We have adult courses for anyone aged 19+, as well as provision for school leavers from ages 14 – 18.

 

What will you be able to get out of the day?

You will be able to check out our great facilities, chat to tutors to learn more about specific courses and see what is available for you, as well as potentially signing up for a course!

 There is still chance for adult learners to join some courses between now and the end of the academic year in July, while our school leaver courses will start from September 2025.

 There are a number of short, part-time, evening, home based learning and hobby and leisure courses for adults, plus ones to help you into work with a guaranteed job interview. There are also University level courses and Access to Higher Education courses available if you’re looking to further expand your learning. Some courses could even be free depending on your eligibility.

 Our Apprenticeship team will also be there on the night, with courses and vacancies available for anyone aged 16+.

 There is also the chance to learn more about any financial support that is available, as well as speaking to our Careers Guidance team.

Our Careers Guidance team can help you decide which course is right for you, from providing up to date careers information and advice, to job-hunting tips, as well as help in applying for University.

 

Is parking available?

 Free parking is available at our Wisemore Campus.

 

Can I walk in on the day or can I register beforehand?

 You can register your details for the Open Day by clicking here and selecting your preferred time slot. Or you can walk in on the day and register your details there and then.

Walsall College has a number of Employment Gateway *courses taking place over the next few months to help people aged 19+, who are currently claiming benefits or on a low income, to get back into work!

Walsall College will be holding *free one off sessions at Bloxwich Library to help people improve their computing and digital skills!
